Two SCORE talks landed on my October calendar. Fearless Visibility on the 13th. No Camera? No Problem! on the 21st.
Last month I told you I was keeping one hat. Less is more.
So I looked at those two bookings and asked myself something honest. Did I just undo the whole point of September?
Then I looked at what each talk actually does.
Fearless Visibility covers mindset. Heather Jones runs confidence, I run video strategy. No Camera? No Problem! covers execution, solo, built for camera-shy entrepreneurs who need a system, not a pep talk.
Same fear. Same audience. One from a mindset angle, one from a tactical angle.
Strategy this month means one question I run every yes through. Does this move someone up the ladder?
Fearless Visibility does. No Camera? No Problem! does. Both stayed on the calendar.
Happy Creating,

Embrace Video Action Lab
Building a video strategy by yourself is lonely and can be overwhelming. When you hit a snag, it is easy to quit. That is why I created the Embrace Video Action Lab.
Your new support system includes:
Visibility Masterclass monthly training and Q&A sessions.
A safe, judgment-free space to post your first draft.
Create & Post Sessions to get eyes on your work before you publish.
Trade procrastination for a published video library.
Eight questions. No wrong answers. Pick whatever feels true right now, not where you wish you were. It'll tell you which rung you're actually on and give you a clear next move for your video journey.
Strategy starts before you hit record. Feed Google Notebook (previously known as NotebookLM) your rough notes or a voice memo and it organizes your thinking into a clear outline, still in your own words. Use it to plan out exactly what that next rung's video needs to say before you build it.

AI Speaker | Founder, Alitura Group | CEO, Select Auto Parts
I recently caught up with my brilliant friend and client, Natasha Broxton. Natasha runs an automotive recycling business and warehouse, and she is also a certified AI consultant.
For months, Natasha was trying to figure out her exact positioning in the noisy AI space. Then, something clicked: event hosts and major brands like Google and Verizon didn't want another theoretical trainer—they specifically invited Natasha to speak because she is an active business operator using AI inside her own warehouse every single day.
Instead of getting bogged down in doing exhausting, custom technical buildouts for clients, Natasha narrowed her focus strictly to serving as a speaker, teacher, and trainer. By showing others how she practically leverages AI and simple video workflows in her day-to-day operations, she built a low-stress, high-impact model that lands her paid speaking engagements and corporate partnerships.
The Takeaway: You don't need to be a polished "guru" sitting in a high-end studio to build authority. Your real-world experience as an operator is your ultimate differentiator. When you share your actual workflows, people pay attention.

Not Sure Where to Start?
Three moves to find your next rung on the Ladder.
Name your actual rung. Not the one you wish you were on. Faceless video, small in the corner, on camera at the open and close, or fully on camera. Pick the one you're really doing right now.
Take the next rung, not a leap. If you're faceless right now, don't jump to talking on camera for ten minutes. Show up small in the corner of one video this month. One step up, not five.
Let strategy pick your next move. Ask what this month's content actually needs to do. Build trust, grow your list, or make a sale. Let that answer tell you whether it's time to climb or time to stay put a little longer.
Don't Miss!

From inside Create & Post
This month, two Embrace Video Action Lab members showed what one working session can do.
Delores walked in without her slide deck loaded. She found it, opened Google Vids for the first time, and had a narrated slide video recorded before the 30 minute block ended. She called it rough. She kept it anyway.
Natasha's a few rungs ahead. She's feeding her speaker talks into ChatGPT, letting it build the long-form YouTube video, then clip the reels and shorts out on its own. Less editing, more posting.
Different rungs, same result. They showed up and did the thing.
